At long last (has it really been two years), Maria's tale returns. This picks up right where she left off at the end of Slave to the Machine XI. This is sort of an introduction, where I begin to show a little bit of what Maria's new life might be like in the hands of the aliens who now hold her. The story also reveals a little more about Maria and some of her background.

As always, I'd love to hear what you think about this one. It's quite different from Slave to the Machine in some ways, but also quite similar in others.
